Her full name is Curious Georgette of the Jungle and she's like a little wild girl, she loves girls, specially those with big hair, but she'll sit on a bald headed guy as well. She had the run of most of the back yard, but when she was loose, a bull in a china shop is no match for her antics.

OMNIVEROUS
This word well describes Georgette, she'd snarf up a grasshopper as well as a lollipop, and the sugar rush is something to see. Normally fruits, vegetables, nuts, bread, milk, and sausages were her normal diet.

CAPUCHIN
This breed is commonly known as the white-faced capuchin, for obvious reason, she looks like she's wearing a monk's robe. She was active (reallll active!) during the day, slept all night, sort of like the 2 year old she was.

THE TALE OF THE TAIL
It's even better than the arms and legs, she did amazing things with it, and you've never lived until you've had a monkey's tail wrapped around your face.

TALK TO ME
After you were around her a while, you could detect the different sounds she made, what they meant, and she had moods like we all do, sometimes she was friendly, sometimes playful, sometimes a showoff on the laundry line, sometimes she just hung out at her hammock. Sometimes she'd take food from your hand, sometimes you´d just leave it there for her and she´d come and nibble on it while on her favorite perch. But always entertaining. But a barrel of monkeys, now that's too many!
Unfortunately, after 6 wonderful months in our back yard, Georgette was released in the Cana Blanca Reserve in Golfo Dulce de Osa, where she can be in the wild with other monkeys. We will always remember her and relish the memories of her brief stay with us.
You can arrange a visit to this beautiful reserve, accessible only by boat, if you visit Golfito or Puerto Jimenez in the Osa Peninsula, it´s a great boat ride and an unforgettable experience (for kids of all ages) to have close contact with all the animals there.
